Renting Made Easy

Yes, we rent our eBikes — and we’re excited to help you ride! Every rental starts with a brand-new eBike in its original packaging. You can also request assembly for a $35 fee at checkout.

Burning Man veterans know it can be tough to bring bikes back to normal life — so we’ve built a rental experience that’s simple and fair.

How It Works

1. Select “Rent” on the product page — your checkout total will include the rental price + refundable deposit.
2. Pay the Deposit — The deposit is the difference between the rental and purchase price. Learn about deposit rates here.
3. Schedule Pickup — After checkout, you’ll receive a link to schedule your pickup time. Read about pickup here.
4. Schedule Return — We’ll also send you a link to schedule your return. Drop-off details here.
5. Get Your Deposit Back — As long as the eBike is returned in good condition with all accessories, your deposit will be refunded. See refund conditions.

Promo Offer

Rent for just $29.99/day (10-day minimum) — This special rate is great for longer trips. All normal rental terms and deposit conditions still apply.

What’s Required

• Must be 18+ with a valid government-issued ID.
• Only the renter may operate the eBike.
• Helmet use is required for safety. No reckless behavior.
• You are responsible for any damage, loss, or non-returned accessories. Learn when deposits are forfeited.
• Keep the bike clean and functional during your rental period. Read about damage.
• Return it with both keys, the charger, and battery to receive your full refund. Accessory policy.

Before You Rent

Playa eBikes® rentals are non-refundable once booked, unless otherwise stated in writing. Late or missing returns may result in partial or full deposit loss. But don’t worry — our full terms are here to guide you:
