These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or the “Customer”) and ABJ Ventures Inc DBA Playa eBikes® (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing local.bricks or purchasing/renting an eBike, you agree to these Terms & our Privacy Policy.
2. Consent to Communication
By submitting your contact information, you consent to receive communications via:
- SMS/Text
- Phone calls
- WhatsApp/iMessage
- Website chat
You may opt-out of SMS by replying STOP.
3. Updates to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use implies acceptance.
4. General Website Use
4.1 Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks (including Playa eBikes®), and assets on the site are property of ABJ Ventures Inc. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
4.2 Prohibited Activities
- No scraping, reverse engineering, or hacking.
- No posting of false, misleading, or offensive content.
- No abuse of our site or systems.
4.3 Third-Party Services
We use third-party tools (e.g., WooCommerce, Stripe). We are not liable for failures or issues originating from those services.
4.4 Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or damages caused by events beyond our control (e.g., natural disaster, war, supply chain disruptions).
4.5 Termination
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate accounts for any violation of these Terms.
4.6 Account Responsibilities
If you create an account, you’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
4.7 Age Restriction
This website is intended for users over 18 years of age.
5. Playa eBikes® Rental & Purchase Terms
5.1 Acknowledgment of Risk
Riding an eBike carries inherent risks. You acknowledge these and agree not to hold us liable for injuries or accidents.
5.2 Liability Release & Indemnity
You agree to release and indemnify Playa eBikes® and its affiliates from all liabilities and costs arising from your use of the eBike.
5.3 Warranty Limitations
Warranties are void if eBikes are taken to Burning Man or misused. Read our full Warranty Claim Policy.
5.4 Rental Policies
- Pickup is in Nixon, NV only
- Deposit required (equal to purchase–rental difference)
- Refund of deposit requires timely, safe, and complete return

5.5 Returns
Returns only accepted if box is unopened and stored indoors. See Return Policy.
5.6 Burning Man Clarification
Playa eBikes® is not affiliated with Burning Man ORG and provides no onsite service. Read the full Affiliation Policy.
5.7 Usage Restrictions
- Not designed for more than one rider
- Performance reduced on unpaved roads

5.8 Deposit Forfeiture Triggers
- Non-return
- Significant damage
- Missing battery, keys, or charger

6. Dispute Resolution
6.1 Arbitration Agreement
All disputes must be resolved by binding arbitration under Nevada law, via AAA (American Arbitration Association) rules.
6.2 Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Legal actions must be filed in Washoe County, NV.
